If I hadn't viewed the video, I would not have
believed it.
A major contribution to sci.arch by Eric Stevens.
Thank-you.

Very interesting. "Give me a lever and a place to stand, and I will move
the world" as Archimedes is said to have said. We easily forget that our
ancestors were just as bright and clever as we are.
I'm reminded of 'traditions' which say the stones at Stonehenge, and the
Easter Island Statues, walked to their final positions - 'walking'
describes that chap's technique for moving heavy things along the ground
rather well, I think. His demonstration with the wooden barn is very
illuminating.
I feel I should warn people that visiting that link could lead to one
becoming lost in the marvellous world of Stonehenge-ology ... I had to
drag myself away from all the other links that were offered after I'd
watched the first one, then another, then another.
