Photon or Wave Transmission of Light?

Photons are discrete energy points on electromagnetic waves that are
carried through and by a medium that permeates space and gaseous,
liquid and solid matter. The medium is the ether, an elastic solid.
Photons cannot exist without carrier waves. Waves cannot exist without
a medium. Fresnel and Arago demonstrated that these waves are
transverse waves vibrating at right angles to each other.

The wave property of the wave-photon duality accounts for:
Light colour (= wavelength)
Interference (Young’s double slit experiment)
Free intersection of light from different sources
Partial transmission and reflection at the boundary between different
materials (air, water, glass etc)
Polarisation
Distance decrease of illumination (Inverse Square Law)
Reflection
Refraction (Ratio of speed of light in air/water of 1.33 by Michelson
1883 agrees with refractive index of water of 1.33)
Dispersion (due to colour of light ie its wavelength, seen in
rainbows)
Diffraction (Grimaldi 1665, Huygens: Waves travel around corners of
objects)
Doppler Effect (Observed wave FREQUENCY depends on motion of source
and observer)
Radio wave transmission by amplitude and frequency modulation
Photon energy (E=hc/wavelength)

Sharp shadows

null results, are nevertheless based on incorrect assumptions and
premises. It is necessary to re-examine MMX and to liberate science
from the bizarre theories of the last 115 years.

emission and absorption processes. The Committee says
that the most important application of Einstein's photoelectric
law and also its most convincing confirmation has come from
the use Bohr made of it in his theory of atoms, which explains

That may be true. Hasn't happened yet. You seem confident, though you
don't have something to offer in that vein.

carrier medium, the ether, because waves do need a medium for
transmission.

No, they don't. Any physical entity that is governed by laws that take
the mathematical generic form of a wave equation will have wave
solutions. This is a case where mathematics has power, because it can
predict waves occurring where none were expected physically because of
the absence of the medium. The physical laws in this case are laws
controlling the behavior of *fields*, completely independent of the
presence of a medium, and because those laws take the form of a wave
equation, the wave solution exhibits itself in real life.

It is also true that the laws governing many media *also* take the
form of a wave equation, which is why so many media exhibit wave
phenomena.

But just because so many mammals give live birth to their young --
dogs, cats, zebras, bats, whales -- doesn't mean that ALL mammals give
live birth to their young. Witness the echidna.

Perhaps there is such a thing as wave transmission of light without a
medium as you believe. However it doesn't follow necessarily that
photons exist side by side with waves just because they are more
convenient at this point of time to explain some aspects of the
behaviour of light. Moreover, scientific dogma, always entrenched
strongly in the mainstream scientific community, must not be allowed
to hinder scientific progress.
