If you can flip it out with your tongue, it is too loose.

You may have cracked it (my wife does this on a regular basis).
I have made her two at a time.

The six-pack idea might be something to look into <G>.

actually it was tighter, seems to loosen up after wearing
it..............was an emergency for sure!!.....would be nice if
they came in a 6 pack.

I've had to make 'emergency' NTIs on several occasions over the
last 8-10 years due to breakage or loss.

:-)

nah

Oh my...... i found the lower after 2 nights without, and Now I
realize how much that thing
is helping me......sheesh.

Yeah, I had told him and the neurologist that id had sinus surgery
before things got really bad, but thy were'nt
very concerned, since it was pretty obvious to even the neurologist
that i was a monster clencher, they both
had witnessed my temple just flex!. The surgery was
minor, there wasnt any disease, so it was a basic endoscopic outpatient
deal, but I know at the time
I was in no condition to go through with the surgery, but did it
anyways. I know there is a super small possibility of
a facial nerve being irritated, like less than one percent, but who
knows.I had the
surgery already scheduled, and mabye 2 weeks prior I had the trauma to
my jaw, but for some stupid
reason I went ahead with the surgery ,not knowing at that point that
clenching was my problem, even though dentists
had been asking me if I grinded my teeth for years. In the last week
though I have made some serious progress. since the 4th
ive been on strict soft diet(which im sure i shouldve done along time
ago)and have been taking the zanaflex regularly in
addition to the NTI, and I can say with confidence things are
absolutely changing for the better. I really never took the
soft diet part serious, I really thought cheeseburgers qualified-or so
my habit led me to believe.  And another thing that has
made it clear I need the NTI, regardless of how im still feeling, was
the panic I had for a whole day whilst I couldnt find the thing-sheer
terror.

argh, i may have gotten excited too quickly. Ive been taking zanaflex
the last 2 weeks, that has helped the spasm, but missed one today and
things were still bad. If I am supplementing the NTI with zanaflex,
and i end up finally out of spasm, does that leave me on that drug
indefinitely?
