Well Jack, I hope out a remote hope that the party conventions will
turn things around, and someway and somehow, a black horse candidate
will emerge.
Then I am not sure that whoever wins the election will matter much,
because even in the very best hands it will take generations for the
country to recover from the damage done to it after Korea and Viet
Nam. I have to wonder, what it the world our government was thinking
about.
Yes, Jack, spent time in Washington and I can first of all tell you
where all the elected government spends a majority of its time. When
most of the dorks like me were there building Washington's Metro
System (called at that time WMATA) our elected repesentatives were
hanging around in a place called the "Rotunda", Now this should not
be compared to the Capitol Rotundra" just a nearby bar with the same
name.
This place simply 'happened' to be a watering spot where Georgetown
Univsersity coed short on their tuition payments also happend to hang
out. Do I need to say more? Funny thing is that not one enterprising
investigative reported has ever published an article about this
institution, nor likely ever will
While all of this 'goodwill' stuff was going on, we managed to sell
nearly all of our trade secrets to offshore interests, and most of our
most valuable real estate as well. So today there is no heavy
industry to speak of in the us, and only a few high-tech products are
being produced. And everyone seems surprised at the increasing
unemployment in the industrial sector. The inustries and jobs are now
gone, and likely will not be coming back in the short term.
Nobody speaks of this situation but the solution to the problem will
now directly confrornt our next president. Damn, I really hope he is
up to the task because the problem has now escalated to more than just
juggling the books. Sjince we have now already given away the store,
I really cannot envision any solution short of closing the borders,
nationalizing all critical components including the ownership of real
estate, and revitalizing our strategic national industries.

At this stage of his misadministration, Bushie knows time's running
out on his chances of claiming success for any significant action or
program.
But the U.S. Nincompoop-In-Chief/WHITE HOUSE WAR CRIMINAL is
determined at all costs to declare VICTORY in Iraq before he limps and
crawls out of the Oval Office.
Of course, if U.S. troop levels in Iraq ever drop below 60,000, the
patient insurgents will return in force. But by then, however, Bush
will be gone and the next administration will be stuck with the Bush
"victory."
Meanwhile, Afghanistan is taking most of the U.S. casualties now, yet
we're told there'll be no troop "surge" there until next year.
And the former "United' States" continues to witness Osama bin Laden's
correct prediction, pre-9/11, that, should the U.S. ever invade the
Middle East, it would be TRAPPED there until it leaves IN DEFEAT!
Bush "victory" notwithstanding. |
