I am trying to find out about a study I heard about quite a long time ago
and so some of the details may not be correct. Please point me to the source
of the study information.
The study done was with 3 groups of animals (babies I think). All animals
were given the basics to live (food and water).
One group was given regular positive strokes (petting etc..).
A second group was given regular shocks.
The third group were ignored.
The results as I remember were that animals in the 1st and 2nd group weight
grew at normal rates where as the animals in the 3rd groups weight grew
slowly or not at all some may have died.
If anyone can give me help to find this it would be appreciated.
