chance of any significant lingering effects.

Also glad you found your NTI.

Well, actually I havent found the lower, but I had an upper from
way
back when I wasnt able to keep an appliance in. Ive been wearing it
last 2 nights,and im
wondering if its a good idea or im doing harm. Seems like it might be
rearranging things quickly(is this bad?)

Im going to assume this is not a good idea(my jaw is sore already
and feels like it has been
swinging side to side all night and still wants to).

Hello smd,

a while back somebody mentioned something about eagle syndrome, or
earnest syndrome, and I was
wondering how that is diagnosed? Ive got some of those symptoms that
are still with me(pain deep in ear, pain in neck, and some pain in the
cheek).

setting where
he is basically delivering Ntis to headache patients in a neurology

Just ask Dr. Boyd to address your concern.

Gotta run...

Jeremy, I would never have been a candidate for the NTI as a treatment
of my conditions even though the NTI had not been available to me as a
treatment.

Webby

Im sorry Webby. Does that mean I might fall into some area of the
disorder that won't respond to it?

That wasn't the point of my comment. I made the comment to express the
point that not everything is remedied by any particular treatment option.

Webby

oh sorry , but thats what I thought you were saying, I guess I didn't
articulate it correctly.

That's a problem, and there must be other problems that we just
cannot pick up or understand over the internet (might not even
if you were in one of our offices).

Wish I could offer more.

Next step I think he's gonna do some tooth adjustments. And something
I mentioned, that seemed to shed a new angle on my probs. I had
thought back to the first ever jaw soreness I had encountered, prior
to the cascading of events leading to being really sick, that happened
after a crown had been placed on my furthest molar. That seemed very
interesting to the Dr.

Well, I took some time to assess this journey, and I think I may have
overlooked the positives. I havent had a migraine in a month and a
half, my neck pain is nearly gone, and i dont wake up with a
headache. I just have some jaw pain to hopefully work through. So, the
truth is ive got tremendous relief with the NTI, and I need to give
credit where credit is do to Dr. Boyd.

A new crown with a new interference (plus the strain of staying
open for the first appt.) can lead to significant problems for
many patients.  To a severe clencher, it can be devastating.

Im fairly sure im a major clench freak. I can remember my jaw

feeling sore for the first time after getting the crown, but I just
blew it off and dealt with it. Also, from the time I had first got it,
the thing seemed short to me. And this dentist was actually a friend,
or so I thought!

Would there be any reason to replace that crown? I

couldnt get an appointment with the Dr. at the dentist setting for 3
more weeks.....argh.
