And why would it bother with feathers when it can attract lead bricks

The earth attracts the earth 81 times more strongly than the moon
does. And at 1/6th the earth's gravity, more than it ever could if the
moon were a damned sight closer.

I am not saying the methods if any you espouse will not work, just
that the theory is wrong. Or that part of it at least. I don't know if
you are familiar with the work of Jim Berkland, since Hungary is the
home of gravimetrics at the moment I imagine you do, but he insists
