What are some real proportions I could use to compare 12 injuries across
9,900,000 hours of service. 1 per 800,000 hours with same statistics that
others would relate in real terms or relationships.. Thanks... |

How about 1 injury every 91.26 years?
Oops, make that 94.12 years (using the original 9,900,000/12,
instead of 800,000). |

Good to relate this to working hours into years but what other relationship to
compare that other take for granted ?? Thanks for the ideas...

I think it might help to consider a workforce or population size.
9,900,000 hours of service represents close to 4950 worker-years. The 12
injuries would therefore represent 2.424 injuries per year per 1000
employees.
