The size of Mons Olympus compared to the size of Mars leads me to think
that when it blew, the whole system acted like an inflated balloon
flying around the room when the air is let out. Could this have
modified its trajectory to a less life supporting orbit? When a planet
spills its guts thusly, could it loose its magnetic firld? |
