Send to: abuse at (no spam) multikabel.nl Quoting NNTP posting host 84.104.135.195
Don't bother with google groups.
Send several example full messages including full headers (if you don't
know how - ask).
Ask for his internet access to be terminated for harrasment and abusive
and threatening behaviour (presumed abuse of acceptable use policy. I
can't read Dutch I'm afraid).

Graham, I curous about what are "Google Groups"? Do you mean Internet
Usenet Newsgroups by any chance, which to my simple way of thinking
Google only provides a pathway to read and post, like any usual ISP.
I suspect that you realize why I am asking this rather facetious
question. While Google historically has provided the net with a very
good search engine, I am a bit offended by their business efforts
aimed at suggesting that Usenet posts have any connection with Google.
In fact, Usenet existed many years before Google was even
incorporated.
This post will exist on a Usenet newsgroup, not a Google Group. The
fact that I am employing Google as a route to post it on a Usenet
newsgroup it rather incidental. If you read it, you will be reading
it from Usenet, one of the primary services provided by the Internet.
It is very definitely not a Google Group.
Just thought that I should raise that point.

Harry, I think Google maintains the Usenet archive (formerly Deja News).
After a post falls off the Usenet news servers, it seems reasonable to
consider it part of Google Groups.
Their posting interface is still quite annoying, AFAIC. |
