No, sorry to say, but I sure tried.


The toy type work on a different principle than radiation
pressure (the kinetic energy of photons).


There is a lot of interest in solar sails, etc. but little
success so far, even though light pressure affects satellites.


The toy type "radiometers" work because there is a gas in
the bulb that is heated by the black sides of the vanes just long
enough to cause a little push.


And you can check it easily, because if they were true
radiometers, they would turn the opposite direction, a mirror
would provide double the light pressure of a black surface,
reflection is double absorption.
