I understand that NASA's next big program
is to send a backhoe to Mars,
to expose ice to the Sun
and create an atmosphere on Mars.
An alternate they are considering
is to explode a hydrogen bomb to do the job.
This is even better than Alexander Abian's idea
of reorbiting Venus.
I suggest that a more fruitful program
would be to try to determine
if there is intelligent life on Earth.
