I will have to agree with that. Len never left sci.space.* entirely, but
he did cut down greatly on his posting when the loons took over and most
of the knowledgeable posters (Henry Spencer, George Herbert, Frank
Crary, et al) left.
Len kinda stepped in for a while when Henry ducked away. It made for
some impressive reading, and the web site was entertaining, too. This
was when I encountered him.
Like Rand and OM, I would agree that the original post (with full
name) was sufficiently informative to make me pause in my tracks.
Many of those Jorge mentions would have added salutations. Even
Dereks's post, once you get past the "that being said", is fitting.
On the other hand, Jonathon's post does fill in the blanks for those
less familiar with the background or the projects. And with fewer of
the KPs around, maybe we need that, too.
