I am wrestling with the createX and rmnlIndepMetrop routines in the R
package 'baysem'. I have no real problem with what these routines do
(multinomial logit choice modeling from a Bayesian perspective) but I
need some help in how to set up the data. Is anyone aware of any
training/courses/workshops/other (preferably in Australia), or else an
academic who would be happy to provide a few hours consulting time to
sort this out for me?

Some options:

1. Post your query to the r-help e-mail list, where you will avail
yourself of a focused audience of R users:

https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help

There will likely be folks who have or are using the bayesm package and
can provide assistance.

2. Get a copy of Peter et al's book for which bayesm is supporting software:

http://faculty.chicagogsb.edu/peter.rossi/research/bsm.html

3. Contact Peter directly, as the package maintainer:

peter.rossi at (no spam) chicagosb.edu
