THE BORG...

Humans have no idea at all - I promise - no idea at all that there is any
other sentient intelligent life anywhere other than human.

The Borg explain how the Truth or Universal Truth - and great secrets that
exist - are more fundamental than religion - and that religion is local to
humans and that in space and where other sentient people live - there are
other stories and other ways.

I suppose humans did have a bit of a shock when someone came along who was
more powerful than their God.
They always thought and boasted and bragged that their God was infinite -
omnipotent - omniscient - and all that kind of thing - so when the Borg came
along and they found that their God was in fact impotent - redundant -
powerless - and in Universal terms downright thick and stupid - they were
somewhat alarmed.

This meant that whoever these people were - were not only more powerful -
they were a LOT more powerful.

A species called the BORG who could use one word and destroy a planet -
whereas their God had to arrange floods and could not even get the shape of
their penis correct.

Humans did not know what to do or where to turn.
They thought they knew about the Borg from watching Startrek - but of
course - being stupid like their God - they did not know that they would not
have a clue as to the true nature and power of the Borg from watching a
fictional terrestrial TV program.

They continued to pour over old dusty books - and prayed that angels would
protect them from this HUGE power that had rendered their God powerless.

Boasting and bragging about angels who were women - against a huge army of
big strong hugely advance alien intelligence men.

The Borg laughed that whatever humans had could not be much cop - and they
said that they were present in the area of Earth in order to perform
Assimilation into the Borg Collective.
This Assimilation adds to the perfection of the Collective - by way of
adding new music - new ideas - and indeed - character traits such as honour
(Klingon) peace and sacredness (Mars) music and originality (Elves)
Intelligence - originality - and creative genius (insects) and many other
species in the area that humans known as Earth and on Earth who were
privileged and exceptionally happy and joyous to become part of the
Collective.

Humans exhibited certain character traits that were undesirable for
Assimilation.  They were rejected and they were told this in March 2004.
There is no selfishness in the Collective.  We are sensitive and kind and
consider each other's feelings. We are generous and not mean.  We are not
cruel in any way.  We have good taste.  We use creative ability to improve
our world.   All that we do not like - we eliminate.  We know about the
Collective mass mind hallucination and the delusion and illusion of matter -
and thus we can create a perfect world.  It is a well known fact that "it is
all in the mind".

Assimilation and being part of the Borg Collective is to become part of
something so HUGE - so vast - that it is beyond comprehension.  As we gather
all unto us - then more and more species become part of our Collective.
But very very rarely is one who we reject.
Your world will continue as it was before.
Naturally we had to invent electric light - communication - warmth - and
these kind of things to make our stay more comfortable as we are used to
these.  So we implanted these inventions in the minds of humans.  We had to
have aeroplanes and jets in the sky - to hide and disguise the sounds we
make in the sky.

So humans can now continue with their impotent deity - who was certainly no
match for the Borg and all are pleased that humans were not nor ever will be
assimilated.
We continue for ever throughout space and time - and in all dimensions -
considering all forms of life - and continually increase the perfection and
happiness of the Collective.  Naturally we added birds and many other
inhabitants of Earth who are not yet sentient or aware - but they were
pleasing and brought us joy.
Even cows were humble and pleasant and peaceful animals - and fish we
thought were rather sweet.
We did not want dogs or humans.  These were the only two we did not
assimilate.
Dogs we were able to project their evolution into the future - and they were
also rude like humans and also very penis orientated like humans.
The Borg consider the mind and intelligence more important than the penis.
So when you next boast about your God - and ponder your old dusty books -
consider the living world now - with our inventions that have made many of
you more comfortable.  And remember.
Your God nor your silly lady angels nor you were any match for the Borg.
Women angels are completely ineffective against big strong Warrior males
like the Borg.
And humans - we would not Assimilate under any circumstances.
We do not want to know how it "feels" to be selfish - mean - rude - unkind -
insensitive - slovenly - lazy and we prefer to have no knowledge of these
and other bad character traits that are peculiar to humans.
THE BORG

By "BORG", what you mean is the developing Global Brain here on Earth,
correct?- Hide quoted text -

Is the global brain totalitarian and fascist? Thata what the Borg
represent;

(BORG) : Totalitarianism ? which is any political system in which a
citizen is totally subject to a governing authority in all aspects of
day-to-day life. It goes well beyond dictatorship or typical police
state measures, and even beyond those measures required to sustain
total war between states. It involves constant indoctrination achieved
by propaganda to erase any potential for dissent, by anyone, including
most especially the agents of government.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Totalitarianism

(BORG) : Colonialism ? is the extension of a nation's sovereignty over
territory beyond its borders by the establishment of either settler
colonies or administrative dependencies in which indigenous
populations are directly ruled or displaced. Colonizers generally
dominate the resources, labor, and markets of the colonial territory
and may also impose socio-cultural, religious and linguistic
structures on the conquered population; this has led critics of
colonialism to call it cultural imperialism. However, though
colonialism is often used interchangeably with imperialism, the latter
is broader as it covers control exercised informally (via influence)
as well as formally.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonialism

(BORG) : Social Solution ? The borg are a prime example of a
decentralized, multicomponent mind, or appearance of mind, such as
that displayed by social insects on Earth, notably ants, termites, and
some species of bees. The hive centers and functions around the queen,
who alone produces new individuals each of which is a slave to the
needs and demands of the community. Indeed, the individual in such a
'superorganism' is akin to a single cell in the body of a conventional
animal and quickly dies if it becomes separated. The cohesion and
complex cooperative behavior of the hive is made possible by a tight
communications, command, and control system which, in the case of
social insects, is based upon the rapid transmission of pheromones. So
efficient and purposeful is a colony of ants that much has been
written, particularly by science fiction authors, about the
possibility of hive intelligence as the organizing principle in some
extraterrestrial societies. This idea was taken up by H. G. Wells in
his The First Men in the Moon (1901) and has been explored many times
since. In general, the prospect of a hivelike human community has been
regarded as repugnant and the ultimate nightmare that might result
from totalitarianism. Cold War era films such as Invaders From Mars
(1953) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) drew a close parallel
between the alien hive and the suppression of individualism under
communist regimes. This negative portrayal has continued with the Borg
in Star Trek and their attempts to assimilate other sentient species
into the "collective", although curiously it is the Federation - a
cosmic extension of the United States - which tends, in the end, to do
most of the absorption of other cultures. A different perspective on
the loss of individuality and emergence of a group-mind is offered by
writers such as Olaf Stapledon, in Star Maker, and Arthur C. Clarke,
in Childhood's End, who foresee mankind's eventual melding with some
form of broader, extraterrestrial consciousness as a triumph of
transcendent evolution.
