There is the pervasive sense of a loss in moral values. Gibbon noted
that while the morals must be maintained to keep a republic, every
effort to restore them once lost, has failed. We have scientific tools
now to explain some of why this is so, but clearly, we are where we are,
and heated debates go on about where to go next.
I am not now trying to point the way, simply clarify where we are, where
some are already going, how that will pull others along, whether they
like it nor not, and outline the effect on the rest of us, the economy,
ecology, and politics.
The American nuclear family model is most seriously challenged by the
lack of young responsible men to support it. Partly this is due to
globalization, and most young men are simply not talented enuf to
compete, too lacking in education, and/or living in communities where
there are no career opportunities. To say that they should move misses
one of the foundations of the nuclear family model, which is the kinship
and support of the extended families they grew up with. Without that
support, they cant support a family.
Moreover, we cant expect maximal mental development raising boys on
sugar cereals, junkfood, and soda. But to do otherwise strikes at the
heart of the free market business model trying to max profits for
investors by promoting advertising and chemical engineening to identify
the taste and desire they can capitalize on. We see the steady decline
in scholastic performance with every generation. While this has affected
girls too, Nature clipped the ends of the bell curve for women to ensure
competence to nurture.
All thru hominid evolution, the young males have struck out on their
own, with the fittest surviving to put their genes in the pool; but
during that whole time, the females have been kept, supported, even if
traded and/or stolen. Often women were sold up the river and had to
adapt to the moral values of whoever they were taken to. As a result
now, changes in the global social model are much more easily adapted to
by women.
Alpha males sought leadership and domination that women adapted to. But
now that the brave heart, strong right arm, sword in hand... no longer
cuts it, the women are finding power in consensus... but limited by
group think. Male innovation is dynamic & fast; we've seen many
revolutions change everything over nite. But the developmental
debilitation in recent times has led men to struggle with deck chair
arrangements while the young women have moved on, and increasingly,
moving in with each other. Which is forming new harems for them to adapt
to which are innovative in that they lack a dominant male. We've seen
this before.
Many times the harems in China assassinated the emperor, and chose his
replacement. Its not a process the scribes in the pay of the warrior
class understood or wanted to write much about, satisfied to write
history as if each alpha male leader arose simply based on his own
talents. Palace coups in both Europe and China were engineered by
women so often the scribes repeatedly praised rulers who lived in the
military camps.
Gibbon noted how the emperors who grew up in the palace, Nero, Caligula,
and Commodus come to mind, were all disasters, while the competent
leaders, Trajan, Hadrian, Diocletian, Justinian, all grew up on farms
out in the boonies. The American Boy Scouts was based on the idea you
needed to put a boy in the bush to make a man out of him. And today, the
nuclear family homes have been as luxurious as Roman palaces for a
couple generations now. And just as dominated by women.
And today, the scout leaders- I was a Lutheran choirboy 50 years ago. We
all knew what happened to Catholic choirboys, but never dreamed it would
all come out. There was a level of hypocrisy in the legacy values of the
American way of life- the drunken philandry that was repented of every
Sunday morning- that was necessary to make the system work. If we
locked up all the men who sexually abused young members of their own
families, we would not have enuf manpower left to drive the delivery
trucks, haul the garbage, fix the potholes, or run the infrastructure.
But now with the cell phone cameras, the internet, and computers
tracking where money goes, a leader cant engage a call girl without the
whole world knowing about it. If you grow up in Hot Springs, you know a
blowjob is not a "sexual relationship". Good grief. Grow up. The blind
eye that haunted the halls of power has been replaced with the digicam.
What we will be left with, is rule by men whose testosterone levels are
so low they are functional eunuchs; and women.
The money to support Christian family values has been downsized and
outsourced. The double standard it needed to function has been broken.
The supply of communities of honorable men talented and functional enuf
to support a family is drying up. The Amish are one of the few examples
where it still works, but note- this is NOT the American middle class
consumer lifestyle. It works for them cause they work hard at it; they
dont spend time on the couch with a remote in hand. They dont even have
remotes. They dont support SUVs or any of the other myriad powerful home
appliances. For them, "home entertainment" comes from the interaction
with each other, which there is a lot of with so many kids, not
corporate funded video.
Even if modern Christians wanted to, their urban lifestyles have not
equipped them for the scale of the physical activity needed, much less
the skills employed, or the knowledge of what to do when. Farm life is
seasonal, not the same daily rat race. The extended family is there for
young couples starting out, and their women are expected to bear lotsa
babies to help out and take over as the grand parents get on and are
less supportive. Women who dont want to birth often, should not be Amish.
Polygamous farming is a more reasonable option for such women. Sharing
the one husband means they only need to produce 1-2 kids each for the
whole operation to have several older kids to help run the place, and
before, while the kids are little, to have several other women on hand
to provide the childcare. We see the court cases of pregnant polygamous
teens, and the moral outrage.
But please. The girls are only doing what young hominid females have
done for the last million years or so, and just cause your
sensibilities have driven the system to code laws in recent times
against it does not support the moral judgment. Individual cases need
careful assessment, but when the hormones kick in, priorities change.
Any look at the written record over the past couple thousand years shows
the sense that a baby provides a teen with a centering she badly needs.
And it works well if she has the emotional and economic support of the
other women. But- lacking a baby, young women will try to make do with a
young man, and nurture him instead. There's no free lunch.
Worse yet, the teen will often end up pregnant by the young man, who is
in no position economically or emotionally, to handle the
responsibility. Playboy:"A man is mature when he can date a woman half
his age and not get busted." Conversely, increasing numbers of older
women are dating and even marrying much younger men. Assumeably, they
know more about what they are getting into and can provide the case
management to bring him along until he can take on the responsibility of
a family. This begins to look like the Aborigine social model. In both
sexes, the older mate is more able to handle contraception more responsibly.
The corporate media has a lot invested in the traditional romantic
model, from the engagement ring at the jeweler's to home appliances,
family cars, and real estate. So, out of the millions of hours of video
produced there's only a few on alternatives like Mosou matriarchy,
Christian fundamentalist or Moslem polygamy, and nothing whatever on
polyamory, lesbians, or others raising kids without marriage at all.
CNN interviewed about 30 young men in court trying to get their
excommunication from a Christian polygamist cult reversed. I could see
why the fathers wanted to get rid of them; not a lard butt in the bunch;
they were all well spoken and clear thinking stud muffins. But I asked
myself, are we looking at a problem here, or an opportunity? Here was a
set of young men that were, in fact, acting mature and responsible....
taking after their sperm donors. Hello?
Worse, ever since the birth control pill came in, honorable men who
stayed faithful to wives who bore them no sons are out of the gene pool,
whereas charming philanderers have sired bastards to be raised on
welfare all over the county. And now those sexy roosters have grown up
to fill our flocks in frocks with their DNA. Smart young women see past
the colorful wardrobe, but the airheads are breeding enuf to swell the
welfare rolls. Monogamy was not planned to be used in combination with
birth control. Pick one.
And now, in more recent years, the capitalist system, which has always
pandered to the male ego with status symbols and powerful engines, has
provided video games combining sexual content with violence. Boys usta
be given camping equipment and smaller versions of men's tools that
became familiar and taken productively up as they matured. But now, they
grow up with a remote in the hand and hardly know anything at all of
really productive tools. Which has not created a demand for their
employment.
The damage from the free market search for profit off boys has not been
nearly so disastrous for girls whose instincts for relationship,
physical interaction, real skin contact, have not, so far, been
successfully exploited by software programmers.
So- not only have boys been more vulnerable to dietary deficit and
contamination, but the socialization has also been replaced with
inadequate fabrications. Increasing numbers of young women have figured
this out. They write to Cosmolpolitan and Glamour about how to get more
satisfaction out of sex, and write to Playboy wondering why young men
dont put more into it.
Well, for one, porn is convenient; costs a lot less than a real
relationship, and there's no risk of STDs, date rape, or paternity.
Young women do not realize the danger to their future plans of a
romantic relationship with Mr. Wright created by a neurotic bitch with a
false charge of stalking or rape ruining a young man's life. One of the
developmental problems guys have now is the inability to judge the
character of a sexy bimbo, and leave them to more experienced hands that
know how to cover their asses. Thus, increasing numbers of young men
have either become fags, or dropped out of the sex game entirely.
The author of "CUNT!" summed up recent court decisions:
1- A wife can charge a husband with rape.
2- If she does have sex and gets pregnant, she can abort without his
consent.
3- If she takes it to term, he is financially responsible; and the way
the law is in most places, he is whether the child has his Y chromosome
or not.
4- But even if the kids are his, she can take the kids and move to a
distant state, in with a stud muffin who has a history of sexual abuse,
and there's nothing he can do except continue the support payments.
The author said she'd never marry anyone stupid enuf to make a deal like
this. And this is from a court system mostly appointed by Republicans
who got elected on the basis of their support for "family values". How
do you restore Christian family values with a court system that has done
this? That is no longer possible. It certainly does not look like what
the Founding Farmers had in mind framing the Constitution.
The laws cannot be changed because the legislatures are controlled by
lawyers who all have partners back in the home district that make tons
of money off divorce cases. If we are to restore this republic, we have
to stop electing lawyers. The corporate media will not say a word about
it; they make too much money from the TV ads electing lawyers. Nobody
else has enuf money to fund an election campaign.
Legacy values are history. Get over it. Gibbon saw how Augustus replaced
the republic on the way to becoming emperor. He slandered the
reputations of all senators who rose to speak against him, appointed all
the judges, pandered assiduously to the Legions, keeping them busy with
needless wars, and vetoed no laws cause the senate only passed that
which he asked for. There had been other leaders who had tried this, but
it took the political genius of Augustus to put it all together. He
carefully maintained the outward appearance of all the republican
institutions while his minions gutted them.
Family values are gone, the aristocracy has never been more corrupt and
exploitive, and the pandering to the lower orders with no expectation at
all that they have morals, all pushing the substance of republican
government aside to be replaced, with no clue on just what the
replacement should be.
