NASA Mars Exploration Rover (MER) Opportunity’s microscopic imager SOL
1443 contains remains of many nerve cells (neurons and glia), some of
which are huge, measuring up to 1200 micrometers in diameter. On
earth, such huge neurons are found only in dinosaurs.
Following images are evidence for above assertion:

NASA maintained that the microscopic imagers on board the Mars
Exploration Rovers (Opportunity and Spirit) could not possibly see
things as small as cells and that anything seen by the microscopic
imagers could not be remains of cells. Above pictures show how
mistaken NASA has been.

They do??? Looks like mud with bits of stuff in it. Is there some degree
of imagination required here?
After looking closely I think NASA was/is right.
