Major earthquakes always have aftershocks, sometimes large.
And the aftershocks always fade away. But for those affected
directly by the earthquake, it's a scary experience.

It's scarey because you can never be quite sure the big one you
just had wasn't actually a foreshock for a BIG ONE.
