I have plans to assmble a SIMPLE Date-'clock' Basic parts being;
CLOCK CHIP,
DISPLAY DRVR,
LED,
LIGHT-CONVER. (power source).
Any reccommendations or Tips, would be appreciated.

Hmm, how will it get you dates?
Can't you just buy one that alternatively displays date and time (button
controlled) and fix it to date?
