The country uses 800 million gallons of gasoline just to mow lawns every
year and help keep the price of gasoline up. Does anyone know where I
can get a solar powered mower and do my own little thing to bring
gasoline prices down. |

You can actually get lawn mowers that work by being pushed along by humans !
The widespread adoption of these might also do something to help the health
of US fat-asses too.

You can buy an electric mower, with a cord or with batteries, at most
any place that sells mowers. That'll be your most practical answer.
Want solar to charge the batteries or run the inverter to power the mower?
You're on your own for that setup.
Or you can work a little harder and buy a manual push mower for the
least possible amount of investment.

Buy a cow. It is automatic, self repairing, self replacing, and carbon
neutral.
