PT presents with osteophytes on her foot. Ortho recommends arthrodesis, but
patient would prefer what he is saying clearly (twice) "cowlectomy." I have
no problem with the "lectomy" part, but I have tried every C and K prefix I
can think of, and I know a "colectomy" has nothing to do with osteophytes of
the foot. What kind of "lectomy" is he talking about?

It occurred to me I should perhaps try CH as a beginning. Cheilectomy is
the word, just in case anyone else was stumped.
