What a beautiful Moon THIS morning, by the way, a tiny waning
crescent rising in the east around 5:00 a.m.! That means the New Moon
is coming in just a day or two, eh? Why? Because the Moonrise
precedes the Sunrise, that's why! In another day or two they'll be
"together" and the power of their gravity, and whatever else is going
on up there, will affect us more powerfully. Don't forget to plant
those alfalfa sprouts or moon-maddened mushrooms or whatever else
you're planting! Don't forget about the cycles of nature, lest nature
forget about you! Come to think of it, maybe that wouldn't be so
bad... living OUTSIDE of nature... actually, that's what we've been
TRYING to do, as a species, for thousands of years... away from the
natural forces of DISASTER, for instance... BUT... even so... it may
be good to know what the Moon is up to, no? What if the Moon was up
to something and nobody clued you in about it? Did you know that I
