Hi,

I would like to understand how MD5 works within given code that
generates the MD5 value from a given input.

I want to understand this because I would like to write an MD5 routine
within Uniface.

Does anyone know of some MD5 code, in any language, that has explicit
and verbose comments as to what each line of code is doing?

Thanks

According to Disco Octopus <disco@discooctopus.com>:

Read the MD5 specification, namely RFC 1321. Accessible there:

http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1321.txt
