Warmest Regards
5C below average here in Cairns. Oh, that's not climate, just
weather.
I see the snow chucked on Victoria today.
That's not climate either.
No; it isn't.
Maybe you're catching on.
Nah; probably not.
I see the scientific "consensus" decided to publish today
and informed the planet that "global warming" was going
to hide for another 10 years as it gets cooler, and
cooler. "But don't worry, it will come back". We can
only hope so. Meanwhile, I've moved to the tropics.
Unusually chilly this year.
Now, to buy more shares in coal and uranium....
Sweet dreams.

Looks to be about an average Australian fall to me.
So the global warming catastrophe isn't happening then?
Goodo.

Quote: Yup. You must be pretty dense to not understand what weather is after
what is it? 5 years, 10 years?

I pegged you at 17-18 years old. Seriously.
Your intellect is advancing at half your chronological age.

If you did, you wouldn't continue to fail to understand the difference
between weather and climate.
It's pretty
unpredictable at any time series you choose.
The longer the better of course, as this establishes
patterns we like to call 'climate'. The 'average'
global temperature of this planet using a full data
set seems to be about 17.5C, which pretty much
makes this period rather chilly. About 3C below
'average'. And getting cooler it would seem.

Just on that note, I have been listnening to you lunatics for a decade
or so describing 'weather' as being merely a localised event
So you still don't understand what weather is after 10 years.
OK. Very dense.
Due to the residual gas in my lungs, slightly less dense than
water, which is just as well.

You didn't of course, but if that is your <NEW> request, then take a card
and block off the section of the above plot that you don't want to see.
MMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN
Look at the following plot that I have posted here several hundred times -
and to which you have responded on multiple occasions.
Here are the figures for the last decade.
1998 14.57 *********************o*****
1999 14.33 *****************>>>>o
2000 14.33 *****************>>>>>o
2001 14.48 ************************o
2002 14.56 *************************o**
2003 14.55 **************************o*
2004 14.49 *************************>>o
2005 14.63 *****************************o**
2006 14.54 ***************************>>>o
2007 14.57 *****************************
Look at all those "o"'s lined up there. The trend is up, Up, UP.
Showing a warming of roughly 2'C per century...
"Addinall" <addin...@addinall.org> wrote
Quote: A decade is long enough to look at a trend don't you think?
The trend is a rate of increase of 2'C per century based on the 10 years
of temperature increase shown above.
You have been told this on dozens upon dozens of occasions....

It's doubtful if it's going to get cooler. The models - which are very
crude - show a <TEMPORARY> plateau for a decade or so followed by a rapid
warming that makes up for the plateau.
Random natural climate noise is superimposed upon a near linear warming
signal.
You don't know what that means do you?

You still don't know the difference between Climate and Weather even after
