Documentary on GMOs . . . long, but worth watching . . .

http://tinyurl.com/4tuzfx

For those with short attention spans, here's the abbreviated version
(contains spoilers):

Big multinational corporation, with the full cooperation and
encouragement of American politicians on both sides of the political
aisle, buys their way into contaminating the world's food supply with
unhealthy seeds for huge profits at the expense of the health of the
people and the sovereignty of farmers, especially poor ones in poor
countries. The ultimate goal: total dependence on Monsanto's
"products" for the world's food supply.

Enjoy, and have a nice day anyway.

There is no conspiracy involved. It is simply the over-arching
motivation of humans to make a profit without consideration of the
ultimate cost to themselves and others. This is why societal
regulation of enterprise is a requirement for capitalism to succeed.
Without a stable society, capitalism cannot function.
