Human soul ....
the most interesting entity in the universe after '''GOD''' ,
though it is just like my previous post .... and looks like
the image of '''''GOD''''.....
http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll160/ravimpillay/9.jpg
Unlike GOD It is finite in qualities and is subject to change through
samskaras when it undergoes transformation of thoughts when in the
human body ....
It resides between the pineal and pituatury glands and above the
hypothalamus ..... It runs the whole body through the commands given
to the nervous system . The human soul is a divine invisible energy
also called as prana , is the operator of the human body , Like
driver who drives the car and though is not the car the human soul is
dirrent and only the operator of the human body and is different ...
Component and of the soul is :
Mind : Anything happens in the mind and it is the mind which gives
rise to thought ........
Intellect: The intellect decides on the morality , righteousnes and
then decides the next course of physical action
Sanskaras:It is the sanskaras i.e. latent impressions of the past
actions of the soul which decide the direction in which a person will
have to take
to bring the above thought into action ......
Next we shall see more about the soul and other matters

The five senses, mind, understanding, and the ego form the lower self.
It is destructible. the Atma or Jeev is the higher self. It is unborn
and indestructible. It is indivisible though it seems to be divided
among beings. When these bodies die the atma takes on others like a
man changes clothes. |

It's interesting that you both have different names for you're 'soul'.
So is it the atma, jeev, or prana? I've never considered the observer
to be the soul... I always imagined my soul to be sort of hidden away
until I die.
I also have heard that no scientist has ever been able to find
anything in the human mind or body called a soul or an observer... we
all are observers, we feel a sense of being and a sense of
experience... but we haven't found the command center (so to speak)
of this observer. I suppose that makes sense if it is truly invisible. |

What difference does it make? It's just different words from different
languages that refer to the same, or similar notion.
Does it bother anyone if someone says they have a car, another says I have a
motor vehicle, and another an SUV? Same thing, different "words".

Why not? What you're looking for, you're looking with.....

I don't have a soul, I AM Soul, who has a temporary body, mind, emotions,

as significant.

The 'we' I speak of is everyone but I'm not speaking FOR anyone else
but myself when I say we are observers experiencing things, thats the
way I think of it.
Don't be angry because I asked what the difference was between the
atma, jeev, or prana... I had never heard these terms before, and just
wanted to clerify that you were talking about the same thing.
No, the eye can't see itself, but it can see other eyes. So why is it
I can't plausibly see you're soul? The only thing I can think of is
not that it's invisible, but that our minds can't concieve what it is
yet. And I say YET because I believe some day we will be able to
concieve it.
Considering what you said about being our souls, I wholeheartedly
agree with you. I've never thought about it in this way, but now that
I have, it's changed my perspective on the subject. I am glad you
mentioned that because I was honestly very confused about it. |

SEAN:
You're welcome if it helped, "perspective" changes everything able to be
seen entirely ... and I wasn't anything like 'angry' ... simply replying to
what you asked. Self-dialogue with the use of the words , "we" as just one
example, says alot about each of us. It paints the perspective we're looking
from, and that is very important though often over-looked or seen as not
relevant in a self-awareness sense. Enjoy the ride |
