Anyone want to comment?

A M4.9 about 11:40pm Friday, and more smaller ones
continue to shake that area.

I was surprised to see that the area IS capable
of a M7 quake, with multiple faults running thru
the area.

Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology has a nice historical summary of

large quakes in the Reno/Carson City area at http://134.197.46.69/dox/nl/nl14.htm

I live in the SF Bay area and track the earthquakes for the Cal-Nevada
region. So far it seems to be a "swarm" already going on for two
months.

"The big one" is always conjecture, but all can be done is to keep
supplies for at least three days.

Not to mention all the 3+ quakes popping up accross the whole state of
Neveda & in eastern California in the last 24 hours (it is Sunday
evening PDT as I am writing this.) It's almost like that whole area is
getting ready to puke!

My sister's family is in Vegas & my parents will be there in the next
few weeks. This is a bit unnerving to say the least.

I started looking at dates for these but messed up the dat somewhat so
stopped working on it till I got over the downer. I got the last
century to check up but here is the 19th:

There is a common factor in them, they (not all of them) occur after a
sequence of similar lunar phases. Some occur during the run and some
when the run ends.
