Finally, finally, in Paperback!
"Semi-Mesozoic Pizza with Primordial Anchovies", a compendium of
seismological poems, many of which first appeared on
sci.geo.earthquakes from 1999 to 2002, rarely seen these days, bound
together with: "Seismological Moments : Tales of the Great West Coast
Disaster", based on a 20-part semi-comical serial about killer quakes,
monster tsunamis and an asteroid, with a slightly different name that
ran in sci.geo.earthquakes about 5 years ago. Both items written by
Ed Augusts, and published now by Lulu.com:

"When it comes to 9.0+ earthquakes, giant tsunamis, and asteroids...
a little humor, like you see in these pathetic 'Augusts' items,
doesn't go very far, does it? HAH! But it's better than living in
suspense about the unseen forces of plate tectonics and thus becoming
either suicidally depressed or anxiously uptight! Isn't it? Isn't
it? What do you think? Isn't it?" -----Miss Chateau, with her
dozens of cats. |

That seems a little harsh, Felix. Ed has never been one of our worst
offenders, and he's actually been rather creative in a humorous way. But, as
a foil to his humor, I must point out that anchovies are not, and can never
be, strictly primordial.

He was sponging off his mommy's social security. Ridicule seems mild
compared to what he deserves. |
