According to Wikipedia, India is a very egalitarian nation
economically, speaking. This is determined using the Gini
Coefficient.
I was quite skeptical about this, but this week's edition of the
Economist magazine says the EXACT SAME THING. The Economist actually
said that "South Asia" is the most egalitarian. The least egalitarian
are the Caribbean and African nations (I think). |

Maybe Gini says that, but India has a _huge_ female illiteracy rate.
