My wife is researching the effect of humor in learning. She has good
results analyzing her data in SPSS, but can't get results with AMOS
despite several days of trying. The data is test scores from two
tests, mid-term and finals, using three different instructional
approaches. She wants to comparatively evaluate short and long-term
retention. Neither of us is a statistician, but she had a course in
SEM several years ago and wants to try to use it with this project.
If anyone could point to a link with an example of how to diagram this
sort of evaluation in AMOS, we'd really appreciate it.

There is a listserv specifically dedicated to SEM:

http://www.listserv.uga.edu/archives/bmb-sem.html

The people there will be able to answer your question.
