The proof of that is that we have had over 500 on topic posts so far

month. Not one flame. Several good debates but not one flame. I belong
to 12
other hypnosis/NLP/self help groups and I can say this. We have more
on
topic posts that any of them.

I agree this group has long been dead even with the posts you and Tom
have generated over the last 2 years which, as a set of transactions I
think you'll agree have be largely worthless.
I did indeed note your offer but sadly I feel it has come far too
late. Laudable though the aim may be this is 1 post amongst 1000
abusive and pointless missives. No one here I suspect will take you at
you word anymore in that you could not not react to the first post in
that thread that you would consider to be a flame.
There are always two responses to what you and Tom call flames. Ignore
them or react. I get the impression reading the posts on this group
that either singly or together you have both decided to react.
After that any one who happed to be conversing with you sensibly would
probably give up as you enjoyed yourself slinging abuse. So be it.
That is your choice but it is then irrational to then complain about
the predictable outcome.
You may then whine that it was the fault of others however at least
50% of those responses will have been yours and the thread will be
ruined due to your reaction. You can't have it both ways.
