Kennedy said we should take whatever steps we can whenever we can, not wait
for ability for longer strides.
Why is anyone recommending war escalation in Iraq?
The Bush administration is trying to us out of there, more honorably than
Nixon did after Johnson. Why isn't honor the question for everyone?
Children, peace, life.
Shouldn't we do the best for all as quickly as we can?
Bush hasn't said we should desert any people before they have peace, in the
Middle East or anywhere else.

Is George W. Bush supposed to be a "great white father" or something?

There's no official American count of Iraqi deaths resulting from the
invasion of Iraq, military or civilian. They had "peace" before the
invasion, when those who are now dead were still alive. And how
valuable is "freedom," when an Ashcroft-dominated Department of
Justice muffles instead of trumpets "necessary" reductions of 1st
Amendment rights?

The lack of order in Iraq extends the range of safe-havens for the
operations of international terrorists, which an overextended US
military is neither trained nor equipped to oppose.

"Honor" belongs only to soldiers. And we dishonor them by maintaining
the illusion that they have a competant Commander-in-Chief in George
W.Bush.

They didn't have peace or freedom.
What do you mean by "official"?

George Bush will be that great white father right after Bill Clinton becomes
the first black president.
