I do not recall the title to this book, but am wondering if it will ring any
bells here. In the story, a man goes out into the wilderness and comes upon
another man who lives in a remote place and isn't in contact with anyone
else. As they go on, spending time together, he comes to find the wilderness
man to be wrong in his ideas. He exposes him to truths, and causes a sudden,
fatal end upon the recluse's realization - a life-ending heart attack.
Designed to provoke conversation as to whether or not it's right to tell the
truth in such a situation. I thought it had the word Duck or Pond in the
name, but I can't remember. |
