Are those MI5 things still coming in?
Set up a filter in your newsreader--I did, and now I don't see them at
all. In SeaMonkey it's Tools->Message Filters.

DonJan uses Goggle Groups. No filtering capability there. He first
needs to get a newsreader. |

There is, if one uses Firefox. Download the Greasemonkey add-on, then
get the Google Groups kilfile script.
From a Firefox browser, install Greasemonkey here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
Then go here and click on "Latest Google Groups KillFile Script":
http://www.penney.org/ggkiller.html
Only problem is, when "mi5" keeps using new email addresses, each one
must be added to the killfile list one-by-one.

You mean a "dense nut" filter.
It's not just us - he spams virtually every newsgroup out there. I
googled it and thought I'd find some news story on someone who found
the guy and had a story on him, but didn't have any luck. You'd think
that SOMEONE would have tracked him down. Anyone have any more info
on this nut case? |

===========================================
There is a similar nut who spams only French NGs.
Even more unintelligible and extremely dull.
Since many posters to these NGs are also nuts anyway the
harm may not be as great as it seems. |
