501-3c does not Santion or control any Church.

Liar.
It stops them from using the pulpit for political speech.

To be tax-exempt, a charitable organization must be one "no
substantial part of the activities of which is carrying on propaganda,
or otherwise attempting, to influence legislation ... and which does
not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or
distributing of statements), any political campaign on behalf of (or
in opposition to) any candidate for public office." Why should
religious organizations be exempt from this rule?

If they want to engage in these activities, they're entitled to do so,
but not with a subsidy from the public in the form of tax-exempt
status.

Why should they be taxed to begin with?
Why should peoples donations be taxed?
Why should government have a say so in what they say or do?
Doesn't sound like seperation of church and state to me.
It sounds like CENSORSHIP to me.

Peoples donations are allowed as a deduction.

The only cost of getting involved in politics is losing the
deductibility of donations, they effectively become a 527
instead of a 503 organization and get the same tax treatment
as the political parties.

You're free to do so. I doubt anyone would trade it with you for goods or
