Hello all,
It's been a while since I've worn contacts but now due to various
reasons I'm going to be getting involved in sports and need to go back
to contacts. Last time I tried the 1 days I was in pain a few hours
after putting them in because of dry eyes. I tied the 2 week disposable
and they were more comfortable for a couple of days and then they'd
either be uncomfortable or really blurry. Oh yea, I also have
astigmatism (not bad, about -1), so I need that accommodation.

So anything new? I can't have LASIK because of my dry eyes and RGP's
give me nasty 3 & 9 o'clock dryness (and I've had several docs fit me
and it's the same thing).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Have you tried Acuvue Advanced for Astigmatism or Focus Dailies
Toric? Have you tried treating your dry eyes with plugs, Restasis,
fish/flax oil capsules, etc.? Your doctor could suggest a dry eye
treatment, and there's a lot of information available online.

Thanks Jane. Yes, I've tried plugs, Restasis, and other meds to no
avail. I'll try the other types to see if they do better.

Thanks
