My parents have 7 rens (5 rhode island reds and 2 barred rocks) and a
sebastopol and tolouse goose in an 8x10 foot dog kennel in their back
yard. They move the pen every few days to an area with a fresh patch of
grass.
It does not take the birds long to eat or mow down the grass.
for the geese, the area also contains a kiddie pool pond, and for the
chickens, we have built a 2-story laying hutchthat is 5 foot long and 16
inches wids and 5 foot tall
