Is that right? I thought it was "uncharted" waters. Like waters that
weren't on a map.
I must be going crazy. I need to be doing my work is what I need to be
doing!

It's "uncharted," as far as I know.

How on earth would you "charter" water? You could charter a trip on water,
but not the water itself.
