Botox® Dental - Apr. 14, Orlando, Florida:
This one day program includes lectures and hands on workshop training and
will be held at the Sheraton Studio City Hotel
(http://www.sheratonstudiocity.com/index.asp ).
The lectures encompass all aspects of Botox® treatment and particularly its
role in dentistry.
The dental conditions for which Botox® treatments can be used, that fall
within the Dental Practice Act will be covered in detail.
The workshop allows the attendee to inject one of their patients or a fellow
attendee with expert guidance.
About Andrew Michael Blumenfeld, M.D.:
Dr Blumenfeld is a board certified Neurologist, and is a member of the
American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. He
completed a neurology residency and fellowship at the University of
Massachusetts Medical School. He currently is the director of the Headache
Center of Southern California (http://www.the-headachecenter.com).
He is an international expert on the use of Botilinum toxin in medical
conditions and pioneered the use of Botulinum toxin in dentistry. He has
published in peer review journals, and developed numerous patents for the
use of Botulinum toxin in medical and dental conditions. He is a consultant
for Allergan (the manufacturer of Botox®) and is on the speaker's bureau for
the following pharmaceutical companies: Pfizer, Merck, GSK and Ortho-
McNeil. He has treated more patients with Botulinum toxin; and has taught
more physicians and dentists on the use of Botulinum toxin than anyone else
in the world.
