Greetings,
I recently purchased a Forerunner 205 for geotagging photos. Seemed
perfect - small, accurate etc. All I really need are the track logs
(or "laps" as the Forerunner calls them). The problem is I can't seem
to download the tracks/laps easily. If I turn on the 205, walk around,
record some tracks then attempt to download using Gartrip or
GPSUtility, both programs report "Garmin reports empty memory". Even
Mapsource does not see any tracks.
But, if I use the Motion Based agent software and let it access the
205, I can then later download all the tracks... Is there some kind of
sequence I need to do on the unit to get it to close the laps/tracks?
Is this some kind of problem with the unit itself?
