Garmin USB drivers version 2.2, released 2007-02-28, support 64-bit
Windows:
http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=591

The web site indicates Windows Vista support with version 2.2, however
what they do not (yet) state is that these drivers also work with AMD
64-bit versions of Windows.

I installed these drivers on my installation of Windows XP
Professional x64 Edition and have had no problems with them so far. My
computer finally communicates with my Garmin GPSMap 60CSx without
having to dual-boot back into 32-bit Windows XP.

Josh,

there is no special AMD version of Windows.

x64 = AMD; ia64 = Intel Itanium
The installation of the Garmin USB drivers contains an "AMD64"
subdirectory, indicating it's for x64-based Windows and not ia64
(Itanium)-based Windows. The processors/instruction code are not the
same.
