Hi,

I am using a Belgium map of size 844x598. I tried all the methods
mentioned in the forum to convert the latitude/longitude to pixel
coordinates, but it is not coming correct.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Use the map calibration screen in Oziexplorer and your exact pixel co-ords
will be displayed in the top right corner of the screen.

.. . . but even with OZI you have to calibrate first (Projection,
MapDatum, Grid?)

Here's a way to do it with geo referenced UTM coordinates.

No, as you click the mouse on a given point in the calibration screen, it
gives you the pixel co-ords, you must kinow what the lat/long co-ords are
for that point, but then, if you don't know at least one set of parameters,
how can you define the others?

Dennis.

That sounds like very few pixels for a place the size of Belgium.
Perhaps a better map would be the way to solve this.

Thanks from a lurker. I'd never heard of Oziexplorer, and it does
just what I want to do.
