Walnuts may help fight the effects of a high fat meal. A study
reported in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology
discovered that walnuts improved artery function after eating a high
fat meal.

Yes, but walnuts are low in saturated fat and contain more ALA (an
omega 3 fatty acid) than any other nut.

Yes, of course. Still, the original post implied that high fat foods are
bad as such, which is not the case, AFAIK.

The original post was essentially incoherent. One could cancel out the
effect of eating walnuts by eating walnuts.

Just like one can cancel out the positive effects of eating a France-
style high-animal-fat diet by eating a France-style high-animal-fat
diet, eh? Or cancel the healthy effects of a very high-fat Inuit-style
diet by eating a lot of Inuit-style very-high-fat foods.
