I got one for Christmas.. I was at the Hyatt Embarcadero when we had one in
Berkley Dec 21/22....
The whole building swayed...
Didn't disturb the bums on the street though..

They may not have felt it; buildings can sway when the shake

It's quite logical if you understand earthquakes and ground
shaking and resonance.

Let me guess,
You've never actually been in an earthquake have you.....
It's totally logical. You can demonstrate it in your own garage right on
your workbench.

She has decided one is enough and has no interest in anything bigger. She

Heck, he doesn't need to do that. He sees building shake and sway
daily. He just has to stop drinking and it will stop.

Whew! Now you don't have to explain to her that old saw about "the earth
moving." *|:-)
(Gee, I wonder if that expression was made up by a seismologist?)
giggling--
(and best of luck to your wife in avoiding future CA earthquakes.)
