I work in Home Health and had the priviledge of taking care of a
Parkinson patient. What do I know about diet? First, protein destroys
medication"s ability for the body to maintain balance. When the
medication is through the system, the body refuses to stop movement.
How do I know this? When a person walks, they continue until they are
safely across a street. But a patient whom has lost his motor skills
can't walk across the street. They stop in the middle and can't keep
walking in other words they freeze. It is very important to continue
with the required medication and a very strict diet. I hope that this
has helped explain the concept of a vital meal preparation.
