I need to check this problem of esteem
extract of 20 from population
_
x=25,73
S^2=9,79
8pieces of 20 are defekt
-ESTEEM p (as probability that a piece is defekt) and give a variance
esteem of p
-SOLUTION:
P(X= =(150)p^8(1-p)^64
( 8)
Y=ln L= 8ln p + 64ln (1-p)
d
-- = 8*1/p + 64* -1/(1-p)
dp
=>8/p - 64/(1-p) =0
=>(8-8p-64p)/(p*(1-p))=0
=>8-72p=0 => 8/72=f=0,111
f=0,111 is the most likely esteem of right proportion of pieces
It's all correct???
