Hi everyone,

Could anyone tell me which procrustes transformations may be allowed
when comparing two perceptual spaces (with the same dimensionality)
given by the MDS model INDSCAL, and also when comparing two outcomes
(only the configurations of stimulus points) given by MDPREF ?

Thanks in advance,

Scoubi.

I suggest that you post your query on the Classification Society
discussion list. The classification society focuses on these kinds of
techniques and many of the people who created these techniques, frequent
that list.

I don't know why Art Kendall posted his answer (with some additional
FALSE information) in sci.stat.consult, AFTER his response here,
instead of just cross-posting them in the two newsgroups.

I suggest that you read my follow-up to Art's post in sci.stat.consult
to Art's response.
