My Thunderbird is doing strange things. Sometimes it loads my e-mail,
sometimes not. Now all mail since 6/28/06 is gone!

Can anyone recommend a reliable e-mail and newsgroup reader?

Thanks,

Neal

I have used Eudora for mail (paid version) and Xnews for newsgroups
forever. I can recommend either or both.

On the paid front, I strongly recommend Agent from
http://www.forteinc.com. Great support, solid license, terrific
filtering capability. You can try it out free for 30 days.

After that, it won't do e-mail, and you'll lose some of the filters,
etc., but it is still a great newsreader (Free Agent).
