My youngest son's dad is a dentist there. Tell her if she wants to know who
to avoid for her teeth to give me a holler.

Why is she going? It's a pretty town, and the Martha Washington Inn and
Barter Theatre are nice, but there's not much else in the area. It's about
an hour and a half from where I spent my first year of law school, 2 hours
from where I live now.
Whatcha wanna know?

She's a new mom (27 y/o) with a new baby. Her husband works for some program
with the Applachian trail. Her mom is a dear friend of mine and worried
that she'll be very isolated. So I was wondering if anyone was near-ish so
she at least had a number....

I suspect she will be pretty isolated, at least at first. But it's a small
town, and seems pretty friendly, so maybe she will be okay. If she's into
historical societies and what-not she might actually love it.
