Well, hell. I just came back from an interview at a hospital closer to me
than where I'm presently working. The med-surg unit in the new place
wears wine colored scrubs. I'm willing to drown my whites in Merlot but
I'm afraid it'll fade later.

If they're requiring a particular color scheme, they need to be supplying
the scrubs, not you.

I'm waiting to see if they'll offer me the position. If they don't, I'll
just stay where I am and continue to wear my whites. While I see your
point, it didn't seem like today was a good day to bring that up with
their manager. Besides, I like cargo pants rather than the usual scrub
bottoms.

Me too. All my scrub pants have the cargo pockets. (it's amazing how much
stuff I have to load and unload when I change clothes)

I'm loaded down with so much crap I've taken to wearing 2" white
suspenders under my uniform top to prevent a Kodak moment.
